dnipro-modular-krait-knob-recorder-lfo-random
Dnipro Modular Krait - Knob Recorder, Lfo, Random

Dnipro Modular Krait - Knob Recorder, Lfo, Random.

The DniPro Modular Krait is a versatile Eurorack modulation source featuring three independent channels, each configurable as a Knob Recorder, LFO, or loopable Random Generator. Designed for synchronized performance and hands-on control, Krait offers flexible modulation options for creating rhythmic patterns, evolving textures, and dynamic movement in modular synthesizer setups.

The Knob Recorder captures knob movements to create loops of up to eight bars, with a dedicated gate recording function. The tap-tempo LFO features morphable waveforms and phase offset for synchronized modulation, while the Random Generator provides loopable random sequences of up to 16 steps, with adjustable slew and the ability to freeze patterns.

Krait supports both internal timing and external clock synchronization, making it easy to integrate into tempo-based systems. Settings and waveforms are automatically saved and restored after power cycling. A built-in CV mixer for channels 1 and 3 adds further flexibility for shaping modulation signals.

With its compact 6 HP footprint, Krait delivers three versatile modulation sources in a space-efficient design. The optional Ewa expansion module adds three freely routable CV inputs, clock and reset outputs, and additional hands-on control capabilities.

Features

Three independent modulation channels

Each channel configurable as a Knob Recorder, LFO, or Random Generator

Knob Recorder with loops of up to eight bars and gate recording

Tap-tempo LFO with morphable waveforms, phase offset, and amplitude control

Loopable Random Generator with slew control and up to 16 steps

Freeze function for random sequences

Built-in CV mixer for channels 1 and 3

Internal clock and external clock synchronization

Automatic saving and restoration of settings and waveforms

Firmware 2.6

Width: 6 HP

Depth: 42 mm

Current draw: +12V 70 mA, -12V 12 mA, 5V 0 mA

CV voltage ranges: -5V to +5V or 0V to +5V

Compatible with the optional Ewa expansion module
