Faisant partie de la gamme de pédales d'effets Studio Electronics qui n'est plus disponible, le circuit Wolftone Helium était une unité de distorsion d'octave vers le haut qui produisait une large gamme d'effets d'octave/distorsion. Aujourd'hui, en collaboration avec Todd Wolfgram, Malekko Heavy Industry est fier d'annoncer la version améliorée de la Wolftone Helium.
Le Malekko Wolftone Helium produit un effet d'octave qui peut aller de Tychobrae-ish à totalement insensé en chantant octave vers le haut.
Le circuit entièrement analogique fournit non seulement une octave fantastique, mais le générateur de distorsion produit un crunch rock classique qui permet de mélanger l'octave ou de l'éliminer complètement du son. Le Malekko Wolftone Helium dispose d'un interrupteur à bascule pour l'octave avec les réglages Vintage, Wolf 1 et Wolf 2.
Le réglage Vintage est abrupt et méchant avec une attaque et un déclin rapides, tandis que Wolf 1 ajoute un peu de bloom et Wolf 2 adoucit à la fois l'attaque et le déclin pour une sensation presque liquide.
Le commutateur Texture détermine le timbre général de l'effet d'octave, de Course (brillant et tranchant) à Full (octave vintage non modifiée) en passant par Smooth (ton d'octave doux et chantant).
La combinaison de ces deux commutateurs et de la commande Mix permet au Malekko Wolftone Helium de produire une variété d'effets d'octave et de non-octave, ce qui en fait un outil sonore polyvalent pour tout guitariste.
