Koszalin Stereo VC Frequency Shifter.
Create complex stereo sounds with the Koszalin from XAOC Devices, a stereo voltage controlled frequency shifter. Unlike a typical pitch shifter, frequency shifting doesn't retain the incoming sound's harmonic structure—instead, it yields otherworldly, ring-mod like tones with a unique sonic flavor. Koszalin takes this a step further with true stereo operation, turning any sound or mix into a shifted alien soundscape.
Giving you quasi-exponential and linear frequency changes for up to +/-5kHz, Koszalin is an impeccable-sounding frequency shifter. The linear TZFM input provides tasteful modulated shifts, while the exponential FM input allows access to truly wild new timbres through low-frequency or audio-rate modulation. Each of the two audio inputs has their own dedicated frequency shift-up and frequency shift-down output, so you have simultaneous access to 4 outputs (hint: try panning these to separate locations in the stereo field for dizzying, swirling audio effects).
The Feedback controls are an important part of this module, and you get direct control over the feedback amount, routing, and response...letting you create wild, beautiful barber-pole style effects through use of the Regen and Density parameters. Boost your sound design to the next level with this bizarre stereo audio processor.
