The ACL Octave is a processing module, designed for, but not limited to instant precise transposing of V/Oct CVs up or down. The module provides three high impedance inputs, one low impedance inverting output and four low impedance non inverting outputs. By the means of a high quality nine positions rotary switch, with end ones -4V and +4V, and 0V at the center, the sum of input 1, 2 and 3 is precisely transposed in steps of 1V. The overall offset of the input mix can be also finely adjusted with the Tune poentiometer within ± one fifth (7 semitones). Due to the use of a precise on-board voltage reference, precision low-tolerance resistors and low-noise/low DC-drift/Offset Operational Amplifiers, the module provides reliable octave switching and offset adjustment with minimal errors.
