The HEXvca is a compact Eurorack module featuring six independent voltage-controlled amplifiers (VCAs) with three dedicated mix outputs. Designed for flexible routing and dense modular systems, it allows both audio and CV processing with high headroom and low noise performance thanks to its SSM2164 VCA architecture.
Each VCA can be switched between linear and exponential response, making the module suitable for everything from precise modulation control to musical amplitude shaping. Internal normalization via rear jumpers allows shared control signals across multiple channels, enabling complex grouped dynamics without additional patching.
The HEXvca also includes integrated mixing functionality, allowing channels to be grouped into three mix buses (1–3, 4–6, and 1–6), effectively functioning as a voltage-controlled mixer. Expansion headers allow direct connection to the HEXa(s)r module for streamlined envelope-to-VCA routing without patch cables.
