The Bubblesound LP40 is an analog low-pass filter Eurorack module based on the SSI2140 chip, the same core architecture used in the Sequential Prophet-5 Rev4. It delivers smooth, musical filtering with a rich analog character, offering classic subtractive synthesis tone shaping with modern voltage control flexibility.
With voltage-controlled cutoff and resonance, the LP40 is capable of everything from warm, subtle filtering to aggressive resonance that can self-oscillate into clean sine waves, making it useful as both a filter and sound source. Its low noise and distortion design ensures transparent signal handling while still preserving the natural “buttery” analog character.
Multiple slope outputs provide additional flexibility for sound design, allowing simultaneous access to different filter responses for complex routing and tonal variation.
