The absence of a discernible stray magnetic field also makes the microphone suitable for close head-to-head placement in Blumlein and other stereo recording configurations.

The ribbon and magnet assembly is internally isolated from the main brass body to reduce mechanically transmitted vibration and protect the delicate ribbon element. Stainless steel protective screens and a gold finish provide durable professional construction, while the included adjustable stand mount supports flexible positioning in the studio.
