Thanks to its twin driver design and flexible mounting options, the VX 5.2 is also ideal for complementing larger systems, making it an excellent choice for both installed and portable applications. Dual Concentric Driver
The 520-Watt 125 mm (5") Dual Concentric driver in the VX 5.2 uses TANNOY’s point source technology to ensure high power output with sensitivity and efficiency. It provides a well-defined 120° horizontal by 90° vertical dispersion for optimum coverage, exceptional forward gain, and improved low-mid extension. An additional 125 mm (5") low-frequency driver extends the bass response.
Performance Applications
The trapezoidal enclosure design allows versatile placement, including small-scale FOH, floor monitor, delay, and stage front fill deployment. M6 inserts accommodate an external pole mount socket for placement atop a subwoofer in portable PA setups. Optional VX 5.2 high-performance steel mounting hardware (sold separately) includes a horizontal yoke bracket and Omnimount spaced inserts for wall or ceiling installation. All hardware is tested and certified with a greater than 5:1 safety ratio for complete peace of mind.
