Avantone Mono-BLOK Active MixCube Single Self Powered Mix Cube
Inspirés à l'origine des cubes sonores 5C d'il y a plusieurs décennies, les MixCubes Avantone sont devenus la norme de l'industrie dans les studios du monde entier et sont devenus les enceintes de ce type les plus vendues de l'histoire.
Les MixCubes Actifs Avantone sont conçus pour être des mini-écrans de référence alimentés à haute résolution et à gamme complète pour des emplacements fixes ou éloignés. La deuxième facette de l'ingénierie consistait à créer un design intemporel qui s'harmonise avec un transducteur unique à gamme complète.
Les studios utilisent principalement des moniteurs de grande taille à 2 et 3 voies conçus pour représenter un point de vue de référence à large bande à des niveaux d'écoute plus élevés. Cependant, à l'ère de l'audio haute définition, il est toujours nécessaire d'entendre le son de votre mixage lorsqu'il est reproduit sur de petits systèmes à basses fréquences tels que les téléviseurs, les radios-réveils, les ordinateurs, les autoradios, les stations d'accueil pour ipod, etc. Il est important de prendre des décisions de mixage basées en partie sur l'écoute de moniteurs de référence qui ne transmettront pas d'anomalies tonales causées par des crossovers ou des haut-parleurs à gamme étendue de qualité inférieure. Une attention particulière est toujours accordée aux zones critiques des médiums (voix/guitare/clavier). C'est là que le fait de disposer d'un moniteur à gamme complète sans filtre est vraiment révélateur.
Plus de douze mois de recherche et développement, d'écoute comparative et de mise au point ont été consacrés à l'harmonisation des MixCubes Avantone. Le résultat est un son très doux, une amélioration de la gamme complète par rapport aux anciens Sound Cubes 5C familiers que les ingénieurs aimaient tant dans les années 1980-1990. Les tests d'écoute révèlent que les MixCubes ont des médiums plus doux, une réponse plus précise et plus transparente dans les aigus, avec des basses plus étendues, tout en conservant les caractéristiques de base de ces petits cubes d'origine.
Construit en panneaux MDF non stratifiés et très rigides en raison de leurs caractéristiques naturelles de faible résonance. Tous les bords du coffret sont arrondis. Finition élégante en polyuréthane brillant "Butter Cream". Un tampon en néoprène de 7 mm d'épaisseur encastré dans la base de l'enceinte sert d'isolateur acoustique antidérapant. Pour des solutions de montage créatives, nous avons encastré dans la base un support de pied de micro standard 5/8"-27.
Le cône en papier (choisi pour son caractère musical) a été conçu sur mesure à l'aide des dernières techniques de modélisation FEA et de l'art de la conception de haut-parleurs "à l'ancienne". La meilleure pâte à papier de Nouvelle-Zélande est mélangée à des fibres de mica pour assurer la rigidité et la longévité. Le matériau entourant le tissu est fabriqué au Japon et possède des caractéristiques d'amortissement uniques, permettant une conformité prévisible tout au long de la durée de vie du haut-parleur. La structure du moteur est fabriquée en acier à faible teneur en carbone 1008 certifié par Sumitomo. Les aimants sont de qualité Y-40 (MIL-SPEC), ce qui donne une structure de moteur haute puissance/faible distorsion de 43 oz. Le cadre exclusif en aluminium moulé sous pression de 5,25 pouces supporte le pilote/cône en minimisant les transferts mécaniques. La face extérieure de montage du cadre en aluminium est polie pour une apparence élégante.
