The Gamechanger Audio Plus Pedal II is a piano-style sustain and sostenuto effects pedal designed for guitars, basses, keyboards, vocals, and other melodic instruments. Rather than relying on conventional delay or reverb processing, it uses real-time audio sampling to capture the natural decay of notes and chords, then turns that material into smooth, continuous sustain layers while preserving the character and dynamics of the original sound.
Its expressive brass foot pedal responds gradually like the damper pedal of an acoustic piano, allowing subtle control over how sustained sounds are introduced and held. The Plus Pedal II can capture vibrato, bends, harmonics, slides, feedback, and other performance details, making it suitable for everything from natural chord sustain to evolving drones, ambient textures, and layered soundscapes.
Four dedicated controls provide detailed shaping of every sustained layer. Blend balances the original and sustained signals, Rise adjusts the fade-in speed, Tail determines how quickly layers fade away, and Sustain applies a gradual high-frequency roll-off that recreates the natural decay of plucked strings. Single and Group modes make it possible to hold an individual note or chord, or sustain several active layers together.
An integrated effects loop allows external pedals to process only the sustained signal, making it easy to add chorus, vibrato, tremolo, delay, reverb, pitch effects, or distortion without affecting the dry instrument path. Wet Only mode removes the original signal from the main output for fully processed ambient swells, while the Clean Out connection can provide a separate dry output for two-amplifier setups, recording, or more complex signal routing.
Built in a rugged metal enclosure with a piano-style brass pedal, the Plus Pedal II combines expressive hands-free control with flexible studio and stage connectivity.
