Le M 147 Tube est un microphone à condensateur à lampe à vide de directivité cardioïde. Au cœur de ce microphone se trouve la capsule à double diaphragme K 47, héritée des prédécesseurs désormais légendaires de ce modèle, le U 47 et le M 49.
La capsule est suivie d'un tube qui fonctionne comme un convertisseur d'impédance. L'étape suivante est un circuit de sortie efficace, sans transformateur, qui garantit un niveau de bruit propre extrêmement faible. Note : Cette combinaison innovante de la technologie actuelle des tubes avec les circuits à semi-conducteurs les plus avancés a été décisive pour l'attribution du prix TEC 1997 au micro à tubes M 149 qui lui est associé.
Le M 147 Tube peut alimenter des câbles microphoniques extrêmement longs sans affecter la qualité du signal audio. Comme tous les microphones à lampe Neumann, le M 147 Tube est doté d'une élégante finition en nickel satiné.
Le microphone est livré dans un coffret en aluminium de haute qualité. Il est livré avec un câble de microphone, un support métallique pivotant pour pied de micro et une alimentation universelle compacte pour les prises secteur standard. Applications

C'est également un excellent micro d'appoint pour tous les types d'instruments de musique. Le bruit propre extrêmement faible de ses circuits à lampes en fait un micro parfaitement adapté aux chaînes d'enregistrement modernes, qu'elles soient analogiques ou numériques.
Caractéristiques acoustiques
Le M 147 Tube est présenté sur le côté, où le corps du microphone porte le logo de la société Neumann en forme de diamant. La couleur noire identifie les microphones à tube. La capsule, équivalente à celle du U 47, est le facteur déterminant des caractéristiques sonores. Elle présente une réponse en fréquence plate jusqu'au haut médium et une amplification de 3 dB au-dessus de 2 kHz. La grille de tête est une version plus petite de celle de l'U 47. Elle protège efficacement la capsule contre les bruits de claquement et de vent.
Diagramme polaire
Le M147 Tube a une caractéristique cardioïde, avec une tendance à la super-cardioïde en raison de la conception particulière de sa capsule. Aux fréquences plus élevées, le diagramme devient plus directionnel. Cette caractéristique est très similaire à celle du modèle sur lequel ce nouveau microphone à tube a été conçu, le U 47 et son successeur, le U 47 fet.
Caractéristiques électriques
Comparé à d'autres microphones, le convertisseur d'impédance utilisé dans le M 147 Tube se distingue par son niveau de bruit propre extrêmement faible, de seulement 12 dB-A / 24 dB CCIR pondérés.
Comme le M 149 Tube récemment introduit, le nouveau M 147 Tube combine un tube à vide (triode) spécialement sélectionné avec des circuits modernes. Cette technique tire pleinement parti des caractéristiques de transfert spéciales du tube et transmet le signal audio traité de la capsule à la sortie du microphone, sans aucune coloration ni effet secondaire indésirable.
Le tube amplifie le signal de la capsule d'environ 10 dB, empêchant ainsi toute influence possible de l'électronique ultérieure. Le tube M 147 délivre une tension de sortie élevée et peut donc alimenter des câbles de microphone d'une longueur allant jusqu'à 300 m sans dégradation du signal.
Les conditions de fonctionnement idéales (courant d'anode, tension de chauffage) du tube sont maintenues pendant toute sa durée de vie. Un fil capteur détecte toute chute de tension survenant dans le câble du microphone et la compense dans l'alimentation N149A. Le tube se réchauffe progressivement en utilisant la limitation de courant inverse pour garantir une longue durée de vie.
Filtre
Les circuits électroniques du micro à tube M 147 ont une réponse en fréquence plate de 20 Hz à bien plus de 20 kHz. Seuls les attributs de la capsule déterminent les caractéristiques sonores typiques du microphone.
Stabilité de fonctionnement
La capsule et l'ensemble des circuits sont montés sur des supports antichocs afin d'éviter tout bruit de structure. En raison de sa large plage de fonctionnement, le M 147 Tube peut reproduire des signaux à très basse fréquence sans distorsion.
Cela implique que le microphone peut également être sensible à des interférences BF indésirables dues à des bruits de structure ou à des bruits de vent. Pour éviter toute dégradation du signal, nous proposons la suspension élastique EA 1 et la bonnette anti-vent WS 87 comme accessoires. Pour les prises de son rapprochées de voix, nous recommandons l'utilisation de la bonnette anti-pop PS 15 ou PS 20a.
N 149 A Alimentation
L'alimentation universelle N 149 A fonctionne avec toutes les tensions secteur de 100 V à 240 V, 50 ou 60 Hz. L'alimentation secteur est connectée par une prise standard IEC 320. La seule différence entre les trois versions disponibles du jeu de tubes M 147 est le cordon d'alimentation fourni. Remarque : L'alimentation N 149 V est entièrement compatible avec le microphone M 147 Tube.
