Eight endless rotary encoders and nine faders provide direct control over mixer levels, sends, virtual instruments, effects, and custom MIDI assignments. Dedicated workflow and transport controls let you navigate tracks, record performances, capture MIDI, quantize clips, control the metronome, and manage playback without constantly reaching for a mouse.
Sixteen RGB Launchpad-style pads feature velocity sensitivity and polyphonic aftertouch for expressive finger drumming, chord triggering, melodic playing, and clip launching. Scale Mode locks the keyboard to one of 30 scales, while Chord Map, Fixed Chord, and User Chord modes make it easy to create and perform complex progressions.
The generative arpeggiator includes an eight-step editor with tie, accent, and ratchet controls for creating evolving melodic and rhythmic patterns. Split and Layer functions divide the keyboard into two zones or place two MIDI channels across the full key range for more flexible performances.
Custom integration with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason, Bitwig Studio, and Ardour provides direct access to essential DAW functions. The controller also supports NKS integration with compatible Native Instruments software and can be customized through Novation Components.
