Eight endless encoders and nine faders provide tactile control over instruments, effects, track levels, sends, and custom MIDI assignments, while dedicated workflow buttons let you record, quantize, capture MIDI, control the metronome, and navigate sessions without constantly reaching for a mouse.
Sixteen RGB Launchpad-style pads offer velocity sensitivity and polyphonic aftertouch for expressive finger drumming, clip launching, chord triggering, and melodic performance. Scale Mode keeps notes locked to one of 30 available scales, while Chord Map, Fixed Chord, and User Chord modes make it easy to create and perform complex progressions. The generative arpeggiator includes an eight-step editor with tie, accent, and ratchet controls for building evolving rhythmic patterns.
The keyboard can be divided into two zones or layered across separate MIDI channels for split performances and multi-instrument setups. A clear OLED display provides visual feedback for scales, chords, parameters, and controller assignments. Custom Modes can also be stored for the pads, encoders, and faders using Novation Components, allowing the controller to adapt to software instruments, hardware synthesizers, and personalized production systems.
