The SoundSwitch Control One gives DJs and lighting designers intuitive control over SoundSwitch’s powerful lighting software. Supporting both DMX and Philips HUE lighting systems, the combination of software and hardware allows for highly creative, fully synchronized light shows — whether automated or custom-built.
Connect and Control Larger Lighting Rigs
Control One features two DMX outputs and two DMX inputs, making it ideal for both mobile setups and permanent lighting installations. Its direct hardware-to-software mapping provides immediate, hands-on control of lighting effects. Whether using pre-generated visuals or creating lighting in the Digital Lighting Workstation (DLW), Control One delivers a seamless experience. It comes bundled with a 3-month SoundSwitch software license, allowing you to get started right away with automatic beat-synced lighting, compatible with Serato DJ, Virtual DJ, Engine DJ, Ableton LINK, and MIDI Clock.
Edit Mode – Build Custom Light Shows
In Edit Mode, DJs can work inside the Digital Lighting Workstation, which has a familiar interface inspired by audio and music production software. Users can create, edit, or fine-tune light shows by controlling parameters like color, brightness, strobe, movement, gobos, prism, and more.
Automated Features for Live Performance
Autoloops automatically sync lighting scenes to any track that doesn’t have a pre-scripted lightshow. The software includes 32 customizable Autoloops that trigger perfectly on beat.
AutoScripting allows users to batch-analyze songs, playlists, or crates to instantly generate synchronized lightshows.
Static Looks are simple fixed lighting scenes, useful for speeches, dinner services, or ambient moments. These can be MIDI-mapped for direct control.
Standalone Mode
Control One can also be used to manage lighting for bands or other performers. The tap tempo button makes manual BPM syncing easy, while the built-in OLED screen gives real-time BPM feedback.
Custom Presets and MIDI Control
SoundSwitch includes ready-to-edit lighting presets and effects to speed up your workflow. All parameters can be MIDI-mapped to your controller, mixer, or any MIDI device, and are pre-mapped for immediate use with Control One.
Support for Leading DJ Gear
SoundSwitch integrates with top DJ gear including Denon DJ’s PRIME 4, SC6000/M, PRIME 2, PRIME GO, X1800, X1850, and Numark’s MixStream Pro. It also supports Serato DJ Pro, Virtual DJ, Ableton LINK, MIDI Clock, and MIDI Time Code.
Multiple Universe Support
